Recipe Pub is operated by Recipe Kit. Recipe Kit is the Shopify app specialty-food brands use to publish recipe content on their stores. Every week, those brands publish tens of thousands of recipes. Every week, those recipes get millions of views. Recipe Pub turns the signal we already see into a structured API.

The engine has been running quietly for six months as the backend for Pantry Pulse, our weekly editorial brief for food founders. We were going to keep the engine private and let Pantry Pulse be the only surface. But analysts at CPG brands, food media reporters, and ingredient buyers kept asking the same question — can I just have the raw scores? So here it is.

Who's behind it

Recipe Pub is built and run by Patrick. I founded Recipe Kit in 2023 and I'm the only person with commit access to this codebase. Email is the best way to reach me: patrick@recipekit.com. I read everything.

How Recipe Pub relates to Pantry Pulse

Pantry Pulse is the editorial surface: a take, three to five chosen trends, operator advice. Recipe Pub is the data surface: every topic, every signal, every week, structured. If you want a five-minute read, subscribe to Pantry Pulse. If you want to query the data yourself, subscribe to Recipe Pub.

• Webhook delivery for recalls and high-score trend movements (Pro feature)
• Commodity prices endpoint (currently exposed via trend evidence only)
• Magic-link free-tier signup (currently email-issued)
• Historical bulk dumps for Enterprise (CSV / Parquet)

Roadmap is opinion, not promise. What ships next is whatever Pro customers ask for most.
